After I shared my thoughts on the recent Wall Street Journal investigation into YouTube, school-issued Chromebooks, and screen use in American classrooms, Jim from Traverse Talks reached out and invited me to continue the conversation on his podcast.
We discussed the article and some of the broader questions many communities, including ours, are beginning to ask around school-issued devices, engagement, student outcomes, and how we’re ensuring our tools, investments, and policies remain aligned with our mission and 2030 Vision*.
I hope the conversation encourages more thoughtful dialogue locally, and I’d genuinely love to hear from parents, students, and educators about what you’re seeing: what’s working, what’s not, and where we may need to keep learning and adjusting.
