Congratulations to Northwest Education Services’ Career Tech for being recognized by the Michigan Department of Education through its “Spotlighting Effective Strategies” initiative.
This recognition highlights Career Tech’s work creating meaningful pathways from high school to postsecondary education, additional training, industry credentials, and high-demand careers through rigorous academics and real-world experience.
As a school board member, I’m especially grateful for what this resource provides for our kids.
Career and technical education is an important part of expanding opportunity for students—and a reminder that there are many different pathways to a successful future after high school.
That connects directly to our new 2030 Vision*, which calls for expanding post-secondary opportunities and ensuring every student has a clear pathway to success beyond graduation.
I’m a proud supporter of the trades and career and technical education, and I’m grateful for the educators, industry partners, and staff who make these opportunities possible for our kids.
