TY FOR TCAPS

In 2023, a few of us came together to launch Roadrunner Nation, a friends group supporting the Traverse Heights PTO.

We created it to help level the playing field—so every student at Traverse Heights Elementary School has the opportunity to access things like field trips, recess equipment, after-school cubs, and scholarships for sports and arts.

Now, with a new TCAPS Foundation* in the works to expand district-wide community giving and close our opportunity gaps by ensuring every one of our kids receives the co-curricular support they need to thrive no matter which school they attend, I’m hopeful that one day groups like Roadrunner Nation won’t be necessary.

Until then, I’m deeply grateful for the neighbors and community members—many without kids/grandkids in school—who keep showing up by giving directly to our hardworking PTOs across our district.
